The Third Biennial All-Iowa Virology Symposium
22-23 October 2004, Ames, Iowa
The Third Biennial All Iowa Virology Symposium hosted by Iowa State University will be held at Reiman Gardens, Ames, IA on October 22 - 23, 2004. The Biennial All Iowa Virology Symposium provides a forum to enhance links between virologists within the state through oral and poster presentations, and social interaction. Research in Iowa virology labs will be highlighted with special emphasis on graduate student and postdoctoral research. There is no charge for participation in the symposium, but on-line registration is required.

The symposium will be sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Advanced Studies, College of Agriculture, Plant Sciences Institute, Office of Biotechnology, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology Graduate Program, Genetics Program, Microbiology Program, Department of Plant Pathology, Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship Program, Multidisciplinary Graduate Education Training Program, Center for Intregrated Animal Genomics, Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Preventative Medicine, Department of Veterinary Pathology, Veterinary Diagnostic and Production Animal Medicine, Department of Entomology, Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology, at Iowa State University, the USDA National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, and the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, and The Helen C. Levitt Center for Viral Pathogenesis and Disease, at the University of Iowa.
